Mathematics(methods and tools)

How can a mathematical model give us knowledge even if it does not yield accurate prediction? Mathematics is used everywhere and is considered as an important aspect of our life. I believe that maths is used everyday to make life easier. Each mathematical representation gives us knowledge on what happens or what should we do. Mathematical models are easier to read and analyse our daily activities.   Not all mathematical models are accurate as they are prediction which we can't be certain about. For example the mathematical model is a prediction for a businesses product sale. Which tells that the sales will be high by 20% at April 6th-10th but the sales are high by only 15%, which shows that the model is not totally accurate but it helped the business as they were prepared for it. Maybe the model was totally inaccurate the sales was the same that day, this gives the knowledge to the business that they shouldn't depend on the statistics totally which can be inaccurate som...

History( perspectives)

How might the existence of different historical perspectives be beneficial to  historical knowledge? (perspective)   We have more ways to look into the history if there are more historical perspectives, if we look into each perspective then we may be able to find something new which can extend our knowledge of history. Every person sees and understands events differently depending on their age, gender, beliefs and values.   Even modern historians have their own perspectives which can influence how they see the past. There are a lot of different perspectives which can either be right or wrong and by finding out if each perspective is right or wrong it can help shape our knowledge so the mistakes of the past don’t happen again. By studying history in different perspectives we can use our knowledge for similar present or future events.   The three blind men who come across an elephant, an animal that none of them had encountered before. Th...
