 To what extent does shared knowledge impact an individual's response to ethical questions?  In recent years the attitude towards gender and sexual diversity is changing at the fastest rate ever. People are changing their views on gender and sexuality as they are trying to understand what those people are going through. People get the knowledge of gender and sexuality from others who get it from other people which makes this knowledge a shared knowledge. The shared knowledge affects an individuals values and beliefs.  Because if the shared knowledge is right for everyone then it is supposed to be ethically right which eventually changes your attitude and response to ethical questions. Because of individuals changing their views on gender and sexuality people of the LGBTQ can live more safely and more comfortably.   LGBTQ was in use from 1990s to help these people to feel supported and empowered.   Is imagination more important than reasoning for understanding sources of past? Logical reasoning is more important than imagination because historians need a reason behind their imagination. Imagination is important but not more because without logical thinking there is no scope for imagination. Historians cannot just imagine anything they need a source or a evidence which shows the particular event. Then only if the cost and effect is not present in the shown evidence, they imagine what caused it to happen and how the event affected the environment or the person. But at some point imagination can be equally important because sometimes we may not be able to believe we see in the past resources so we create an image which perfectly fits the evidence which makes us understand things from the past.  If we take an example of the latest event of coronavirus which has affected the world in many ways and see it from the future where we have only to rely on secondary sources.
