Imagination or Reasoning

 Is imagination more important than reasoning for understanding sources of past?

Logical reasoning is more important than imagination because historians need a reason behind their imagination. Imagination is important but not more because without logical thinking there is no scope for imagination. Historians cannot just imagine anything they need a source or a evidence which shows the particular event. Then only if the cost and effect is not present in the shown evidence, they imagine what caused it to happen and how the event affected the environment or the person. But at some point imagination can be equally important because sometimes we may not be able to believe we see in the past resources so we create an image which perfectly fits the evidence which makes us understand things from the past. 

If we take an example of the latest event of coronavirus which has affected the world in many ways and see it from the future where we have only to rely on secondary sources. Then we would have a lot of evidence proving this event happened for a long period of time. In the future people may not be able to reason that this happened for so long but we will have sources proving it, so we tend to imagine how people managed it and how people overcame it because we don't have any evidence of that. So I conclude by saying that in some situations imagination can be equally important but most of the time logical reasoning is more important.

The future of Meat-Eating

  To what extent do the development of new technologies affect shared beliefs of society? To satisfy the increasing demand for food by the growing human population, cultured meat (also called  in vitro , artificial or lab-grown meat) is presented by its advocates as a good alternative for consumers who want to be more responsible but do not wish to change their diet.
